I have spent many intimate hours with my little one, and I wonder when she has such a pensive expression on her face what she's really thinking about. Whenever Emma falls asleep in her daddy's arms, or when she's nursing, she always has one hand up on her face. We wonder if she has a headache. She also gets a faraway look in her eyes and stares off into distance as if she's pondering something very important, and then breaks away to come back.
Sometimes, she has her eyes closed with her hands folded as if she's praying, and we think she may be praying for us, so we don't mess up while we try to take care of her!
We just think it's all cute.
