Annual Winter Visit

Emma's Halmoni and Harabuji made their annual winter visit to Arizona, this time for Emma's birthday. Unfortunately, Emma was quite sick following her birthday, so we ended up staying put at home most of the week they were visiting. It worked out fine for me because I had to declutter and stage the house for sale before we went out of town for a week, and Curtis was out of town for work for a couple of days. Of course, with an infant under foot, everything becomes that much more difficult. That's where my parents come in. My mom and dad worked so hard the entire week to help me get the house ready, even though my dad wasn't feeling well. I really couldn't have done all that work without them there to watch Emma, cook, clean, pack, shred, rearrange, rent a U-Haul truck, move furniture and boxes to storage, and on and on. I felt bad when they finally left on Friday that we didn't just have fun together, but felt grateful as always for their unconditional love and labor for me and my little family. I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you! This is a familiar sight for my dad and all of the grandkids. They love getting carried around like this....
