Monthly Updates

I have been taking these photos of Austin each month, but haven't done anything with them yet.  This would be a good place to post them, probably....  The stickers are the same size, so you can see how much smaller he was at one month compared to months 3, 4, and 5 where he's wearing the same onesie. 

Emma always insists I also take photos of her on these days....

In the picture above, I took pictures of Emma and Austin with their pajama bears.  The picture below shows Emma when she was only 19 days old, with Bunny Bear (in her pristine condition back then).  She was skinnier than Bear.  We only recently acquired blue Pajama Bear for Austin, so Austin looks like a giant next to Bear.

 

Austin started eating baby food a couple of weeks after he turned 5 months - so far, just rice cereal and sweet potatoes.  He does a pretty good job of keeping most of the food in the mouth and down.  He has the cutest giggle when he is tickled or nuzzled, and is a very social little person - tracking people around him (especially his big sister) with his eyes all the time, crying when he's the only one in a room, and chatty when he hears other people's voice.  We love him and think, as Emma puts it, "Isn't he the cutest baby in the whole world?"
