Teaching young children virtues like charity, compassion, and especially patience is a difficult task for me as a parent, probably because I haven't mastered any of these myself! Emma's response before skipping off this morning when I asked her to wait one minute for me to pour her some milk: "Okay, Mom. May I be patient?". Why, of course!
