My favorite: "Good morning, Mommy!"
When she wakes up in the morning and Curtis isn't there: "Mommy, did Daddy go to office?"
What she says to me when she emerges from her room AND hasn't napped: "Mommy, I had a good nap!"
As she was falling back asleep after being awake at midnight last night:
Emma: "Mommy, is Daddy home?"
Me: "Yes, he is."
Emma: "I like him. His name's Curtis."
A sweet observation she made when we went to the Mesa Temple Visitor Center for FHE:
"Jesus has owies."
And in honor of her mother, her favorite exclamation: "Good gracious!" Go figure.
