Auntie Hyeyoung's family sent Emma a birthday present, and she has been putting it to good use. Here she goes on her little push car.
Emma is now 13 months old and very active. She doesn't seem challenged by much these days, and figures out how to get her way. Lately, her acrobatic skills have increased - she likes to climb on something and then move from object to object (like couch to endtable or box to another box). For example, I dozed off the other morning with her in bed, and woke up to a little shriek when she got caught between our bed and the nightstand (in a cross). And now that we're in our new house with stairs, she can quickly climb all the stairs to the top. We hope she will stay fearful of going down for a big longer, so we don't find her tumbling downward, while we're still trying to figure out how to get some safety gates up.
