Grandma Ella passed away last Friday morning at 6:00 am, at her son's home in California. She was in her 90's, and has had declining health since April. We are glad she's not suffering anymore and was with family during her last days. We know the last few months were difficult for her in many ways, especially because she had been independent for so long.
Grandma Ella was my mother-in-law's stepmother. Curtis' grandmother passed away shortly before his parents married, so Ella was the only grandmother the kids and grandkids knew. We're happy Emma had a chance to meet Grandma Ella and spend some time with her. We will miss you, Grandma Ella.
