Emma's 2 Month Update

Emma's two-month check-up was today. She weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20.25 inches long. Her weight is in the 25th percentile; her height and head circumference is in the 50th percentile. She's growing just fine, and the pediatrician was quite pleased with Emma's development. Emma demonstrates some of the developmental milestones that normal two-month-olds display (like following objects with her eyes). Emma also had 5 vaccines today in 3 shots and an oral administration. She was a little trooper, and didn't even cry very much. Preemies often have a higher pain tolerance than other newborns. Speaking of preemies, she has outgrown her preemie outfits and will probably outgrow her preemie diapers in the next week or so. All in all, we're all pleased with Emma's progress!
